Seeking E46 BT retrofit instuctions

Hi there

Can anyone point me to the PDF or a photo installation af a ULF/TCU bluetooth retrofit that specifcally includes the wiring harness connections and routing?

Online I can only find retrofits for US market cars that will all have the loom factory fitted, or for the X5 which has different points of connection to the car.

Thanks

What year car?

I've never seen shots of having to install the actual harness routing, though there's plenty of info on installing car PC harness, and that is where I would start, if I wanted to route cables..

for a pre 03/2002 = BigPatsFans.com
for a post 03/2002= BMW Bluetooth installation instructions for e46 3 series

Don't know if this is at all helpful though..

The car is a 99, but I am looking mainly for where the harness plugs in and runs up front. I know it goes through the rear firewall and under the passenger seat, but from there where does it connect in for power, speed, reverse, illumination, iBus etc etc..

I saw those links, and I found the X5 cable harness routing, but it plugs in to X400 in the rear of the car, which my car and retrofit harness does not have.

Have you examined all the wiring and intermediate plug picture locations in the WDS? Do you need the I bus or only the K bus connection? The K is in the center dash consol.

I need to plug this in up front somewhere. It has power, ibus, speed sensor etc on it.

The harness is 61120143309.
