Audio is independent of hands free Bluetooth. Your radio should be aux input ready, and it mye have the aux plug already installed. A generic 3mm audio plug is all you need.

Right. I was just going to add one of these if I decided on upgrading the TCU. Obviously, if I go with the MediaBridge, there would be no need for this AUX cable. I searched the glovebox and center console and didn't see any existing inputs. From what I gather and from your post above, this cable should be plug and play on the back of my radio.

Yes, the cable is a plug-and-play addition to the back of your radio.
