Blutooth retrofit
First post. I have a 2001 X5 with a retrofit sat nav system on. I have recently purchased and installed a bluetooth retrofit kit from BMW, however, I am unable to hear anyone speak on the phone, all the other functions work. I have been in contact with BMW and they are now saying it is impossible to retrofit a bluetooth system with a retro fit sat nav system and it was sold in error. They will give me a refund for the bluetooth system but the problem is my car did not come prewired so the whole interior had to come out. I do not fancy repeating the process, does anyone have an alternative to get the system working. Thanx Kevin p.s sorry for droning on |

If you don't have navigation, here is the likely source of your lack of audio - http://www.xoutpost.com/articles.php?...icle&artid=169
It's an easy fix (much easier than removing your interior again

I have the factory nav, but I know i had no sound without adding an amp to the system. Not sure if your set up might have the same problem.
