Eonon D5166ZU (newer model) anyone using?

Anyone using this deck, and can give feedback?

I'm not looking for the best, but need to swap my non-DSP business-CD (pixels broken), and figure this unit @ $350 might suffice.

I know it's not as good hardware/software as some of the other OE style decks, my main concern is whether it works or not, and does as advertised with some reasonable expectation of reliability.

Well those sharp corners should really fit the opening nicely.

Oh wow, good point. I completely didn't notice how sharp those were :-/

I wonder if anyone on Xoutpost has installed this specific one (which probably involved grinding down the corners with a bit of sanding/dremel)?

Spend $300 more and get a properly fitting and working Dynavin N6

Heck if you don't care about having the newest features and don't have DSP, get the Dynavin D99+, its on closeout and probably can scoop it up for the same price as that piece of junk

Thanks for the tip. I don't have DSP, and will have a look at the D99+ :thumb up:

The corners are extremely close to fitting on bottom, may not need trimming. Its the old mounts in the bottom center that are in the way. There has got to be a way to make this work...
