Question E70 custom subwoofer idea

So, I have an E70 with third row seating. This prevents me from getting the JL custom enclosure. I want to add some bass and preferably keep a good chunk of my storage space in the lower of the hatch. So my idea is to wire up an amp in the trunk storage area, and on the passanger rear of the hatch covering the fuzes, pull out the small storage and make a fiberglass mold to house a subwoofer there. So it will take minimal space AND I could just remove it if I needed a little extra room back. Has anyone done anything similar? I've googled quite a bit today and nothing comes up to this degree, which surprises me. Are there just not a lot of Subwoofer wanting third row seating sufferers out there?
