headrest monitors

what is the best size for the headrest monitors on the x5. i have just purchased one......i don't have the sportseats...not sure what the comfort seats are, but would like to add this to my vehicle....also how much is the nav tv deal.....probably won't use it but think its kewl.......thanks for all the help

from my understanding, the distance between the two metal rods are different for each set of seats, ie regular vs. sport. vs comfort. so i dont think you can just get a set and put them in.

with that in mind, you can easily get 7" lcds to fit in the head rests, even the comfort ones - we measured ezak's one day and we figured it would fit just right.

I always thought that the headrest monitors would fit both regular and sport seats, but not comfort seats because the comfort seat headrests are motorized, and you need manual ones to install the monitor headrests.

I read on this thread that you had installed screen headrests in your comfort seats, were they replacement headrests like

the problem is that it says on their website that it is not compatible with motorized headsets as in the case with CS.

or

did you install headrest monitors in your existing CS headrest?
