Decisions, decisions!!

Well at the CES show last week, I got a chance to see the new version of their CleanSweep. It's pretty cool. I know there's some of you that don't like this way and prefer LOCs to the CS. The CleanSweep® CL-SSI is their new version which my installer is recommending. I'm torn between trying to keep the stock NAV setup or just yanking the whole thing and going a totally different route w/aftermarket all the way through and through.

So I'm trying to convince myself one way or the other...what are the benefits that I may be overlooking if I were to keep the stock headunit?

Assuming I can get an aftermarket double DIN setup in the dash, I haven't pulled it apart yet but have read you can I really don't see any drawbacks. Having a DVD player in dash would certainly beat a standalone unit elsewhere. The cost of the stock Sirius adapter kit will pay for more than 30% of a top of the line DBL DIN. I'd lose the vehicle computer readouts on the display as far as MPG, ETA etc etc... Another benefit would be better SQ with an aftermarket unit and 5 or 7v preouts.

The other decision I need to make is whether or not I want to lose the spare tire and sink my amps flush with the floor, or buildup the floor and recess the amps in the false floor.

The last decision is on the sub..I have a 10w7 from my M, but I don't think I can get a box w/enough volume in the space on the passenger side...an 8w7 shouldn't be a problem, but I can't see fitting the 10 in there flush, there's a lot less room than I initally thought!

Basically this is just a brain dump and throwing it out to the group for some ideas and suggestions on what you've done and seen done.
