2013 X5 without 6NR...what are my choices??

Hi guys, I'm picking up a 2013 X5 50i next week and it doesn't have 6NR optioned in. I have a Samsung S7.
Will I be able to connect phone via bluetooth and stream music?
Will I be able to connect via USB at all? Looking at the option sheet for MY2013 X5's, it looks like all came with option 6FL (USB and ipod adapter) standard.

The info online is so confusing as to what I can and cannot do. From what I'm reading, BMW apps is only for IOS devices....at least I think so.

What is the BMW Connected app and Connected Classic app do?
Do I need BMW Apps for that? and if so, is it necessary to have additional hardware like 6NF for it to function?

Keep in mind again that this is for Android, NOT iPhone.

I just got a 2011 and the Bluetooth connected fine, so I'm sure your 2013 should be good to go.

I'm getting by listening to my music and phone calls via Bluetooth with no app, but hey to each their own.
