IceLink and different iPods (4G and 5G)

I currently have an iPod Photo (4g) and an '06 X5. I do not have the Premium Sound System so I guess I don't have DSP so the IceLink Plus should work fine.

My question is, if I get the IceLink Plus and later upgrade to an iPod Video (5G) will I need to purchase a new cable or will it work with the same one for the 4G?

And finally, Dension's site only mentions BestBuy as a dealer in Miami where I can get it installed. Is this really my only option?

thanks.

There shouldn't be a difference in the 4G and 5G cable for the iPOD. As for installing the icelink itself, you should have no problem doing it yourself, there are at least a couple of articles regarding the install.

This is actually for my parents.. They live in Miami and I am about 600 miles away. I would do it for them if I lived closer. I have read the write ups and it does look simple, but I doubt installing it is something they would want to tackle.

Send Tom G. from EAS a PM, he might know someone local. Tom is also a good source to get the icelink from.
