I posted this on the E53 forums but have little luck so I thought I'd see if the wider audience could help.
I installed an Avin Avant 4 into my 2005 X5 the other day and cannot get it to talk to the internet. The unit shows as being connected to my home WiFi (fair signal strength at 2.4 gHz) but it will not connect to Google Play and I cannot authorize the iBUS app because iBUS says I do not have an internet connection. All the while the little WiFi icon at the top indicates a connection. Avin support has been useless, to say the least. Any advice greatly appreciated.

Update...Avin support sent me an update for the unit and I also did a total reboot. That worked, finally!
