OEM MP3 Changer works with NAV... My 2006 Model

I just bought my X5 about 3 weeks ago and just bought the factory changer from my local dealer at cost.

It works perfectly with my '06 X5 4.4i with v26 software. MP3 cd loads up, show song title, album and artist name and goes past 99 songs.

The part number for my changer is 65126977768 which I was told replace all earlier version of the cd changer. It was a simple install and im completely happy with it now since i dont have to add my ipod to play my music

Interesting to see if it'll work on '04 or '05 models... Would you be able to check the version or part # of your radio module? I'm sure you're X also has a newer radio module to handle the MP3 capability...

What is the part number for the radio module? Is it a BM54?

Please can you take pictures of the NAV display showing all the menu options, including the MP3 option and pictures of the MP3 displays?

I am interested in this capabilities and thank you ahead of time for your favorable consideration of my requests.

Best regards,
'Willie

Take a look at the end of this thread for pictures

http://www.xoutpost.com/stereo-system...mp3-but-2.html

Unless things have changed in the '06 vehicles, USA cars are fitted with the BM53 Radio Tuner.
