Question on installing MB Quart component speakers...

I have read through some of the articles posted in the reference section but can't find an answer on how to hook up component speakers.

I have NAV with DSP which I would like to keep. I believe the tweeters and mid's are already crosed-over (don't know at what point) through the stock DSP amp. Therefore should I be installing my MB Quart tweeters and mid's WITHOUT the new crossovers???

How do I go about adding a separate amp for the sub only, and being able to control the sub volume?
