Question radio reciever

Today I took th battery cover off and foubd a cable with different plugs colors(blue black and white also there is a big black plug) anyone knows what are those pluge for, plus what is the difference between the radio head unit and the radio reciever.

The receiver has the antenna plugged into it. The head unit is in the dash.

There are a lot of electronics and harnesses under the load floor - without a pic, you won't get a precise answer.

there is a diaphram about electronic components locations, if u can tell me what EHC and PDC stand for u can answer my questions, I can not post a pic, before tomorrow since am at work now.

PDC is the Park Distance Control module. EHC is the Electronic Height Control module.

Both are located in the same area as the radio module.

well, what if I am missing the radio module???
is that possible,since that compartmnet is empty.

Do you have navigation? If not then the radio module is built into the in-dash CD player unit mounted above the dash MID.

thanx, this answrered all my questions, I am planning to rewire the phone system, and was not sure what those plugs are for.
