Icelink problems, Tom anyone?

My text appears on and off, it switches between big text and little text, I'm getting delays in changing songs and there are times I cant bring up the menu. When the text is showing it wont allow me to show another screen (ie nav) before it takes over the screen. Tom, anyone?

I'm not familiar with the system, but it sounds like a loose connection to me...

The text is a known fault. On your screen can you see the 6 disc selection ?

Try moving the nav knob then when you get to the right play list hold the fast forward button done on your steering wheel to select.

Big question - was the battery cables removed when the install was performed? This would cause the same sort of behavior.

I pulled the fuses, but not the battery cable.

I would recommend pulling the battery cables rather than just the fuses.

yanked the battery, and text and stuff worked momentarily, but then it still wont let me switch to my nav map without sending me right back to the radio screen. Minutes later I still have the same problems, although the 2 sec delay with track changing has dissappeared
