Semi-New, need help w/ bluetooth, sirius, and ipod interface on 02 w/DSP non nav
I've covered layer after layer of docs on doing bluetooth, sirius, and ipod retrofit, upgrades, whatever. I can't seem to find a definate "here it is, this is what you need, do it this way, get the parts here" thread.
Here is what I want to do: I have an 02 x5 4.4, non nav, in dash cd, dsp, no changer audio system. vehicle was put into service may of 02. I want to install sirius, an ipod interface and bluetooth into this thing and I'd like to do it as efficiently and cheaply as possible, while keeping an OEM look and feel. I know they make a ~$600 setup for bluetooth, but my x5 came with the phone already integrated, is there another way to do it? I've seen the icelink setup but again isn't there another way to do that, that's more OEM looking/feeling? Anyone that has direct experience in this that feels like they can simplify this, please email me privately. Thank you, Joe Clark |
