Installing double din in 06 x3 w/o nav

I just bought a 06 X3 with Business Cd and of course no Navigation.

I just bought a new alpine double din DVD player that i would like to have in the X3, it is possible?

If so how?

Im not sure how it would fit but i just saw pics of X3 w/ navigation and it would fit in one with Nav so its got to be pre-fabricated for Nav / double din stereo?

Am i dreaming?

I just bought / leased a 2006 Silver w/ black leather Sport package x3. I love it!

that face plate won't work...double din is twice that size.

You are kind of dreaming.

Get a single-DIN nav unit from Alpine or Eclipse if you must.

But remember you can upgrade the OEM radio with aftermarket amps and speakers just fine : )
