Mp3 in the X-punch

Hello guys,
maybe a stupid question
but I know you'll know the
right answer... I searched
the forum but there was no
such thread...
So I have a proffesional radio
on the X and in the catalogue
it's said that it reads MP3 CD's
also the dealer said so...
but actually it doesn't. I've
copied some CD in different ways
with or wothout folders in them
but the player doesn't want to
read them...

The X is euro spec...

I'm really sorry if this thraed is
annoying but I really don't know
the answer of this mess...

To my knowledge, BMW doesn't offer a CD unit for the X5 that plays MP3's. The closest I've seen to that is the latest 3 series' CD changer reportedly supports MP3's but I am not aware of anyone successfully retrofitting the unit into another model.
