ipod keeps repeating track #1 on some albums

I press CD6 and go through the Artists till I find one I want to listen to. Select the Album and start listening to track #1, then when track #1 finishes it starts again and again etc etc. If I press the button for the next track, the display reads 2 but then quickly reverts back to 1 and starts playing the track again.

This does not happen with all albums though - probably about 50% or so.

Am I missing something here? Is there a setting on the ipod that needs changing?

Thanks for your help guys!

Dave - You're posting in the stereo systems section, so is this problem happening when you're playing your iPod through an iceLink or an iPodyourBMW connection? Or is this when you're playing your iPod as normal, untethered, and using headphones?

Check the ID3 text of the particular song you are listening to. If just one character is off from the rest - it will treat that song as a different album.

Thanks Tom, I'll check this.

Regards,
