My custom X5 install (PICS)

Finally got around to taking pictures of my X5 install...

2 - JL Audio 10w6v2 Subwoofers
2 - A/D/S 236is components (front)
2 - A/S/S 236is components (rear)

Hifonics Zeus 85x4 RMS amp for components
Hifonics Brutus 1500x1 RMS amp for subwoofers

Here are the subs and amps in the custom enclosure. There are white LED's and blue neon accents under the amps; it's hard to see in the daylight photo.

Ipod your BMW kit:

A/D/S components installed as factory replacements:

Looks fantastic, definitely the setup I've always had planned for my X. Did you have to take out your spare?

Very nice sound system you've got there, and a very clean install, too.

You may want to check out the ice>Link Plus.

Thanks for the replies,

The setup was about $2800-3000 including all my materials. It was a work in progress so I really don't have an exact figure, it's more of an estimate. The A/D/S comps and JL sub were the bulk of the price.

Also, I did remove my spare. I use AAA

I have been looking at the ice>link plus but I have no clue how transparent it installs when the ipod your BMW splice install has already been done to the factory radio.

Nice touch putting the amps and woofers in the floor; allows you to keep some of the limited cargo space! Is there any way to hide the setup from opportunistic eyes?
