option 2 - Hardwire / T-Tap (Power / Ground Split) Any 12 volt key power source in the vehicle. I recommend the power cable under the driver's seat called XLR. This cable is used specifically for the BMW DVD system built by Vizualogic. You can tap right in. No problem and it is a cold source that shuts off with the key power of the vehicle.

Lawrence,
Is the same "XLR" 12V switched power that's available under the driver's seat in the X5 also available in the X3? How is this wire labeled/colored?
I just ordered a set of Revolution IIs foir my X3, and this will make wiring it up very easy if it's available.
