A quick troubleshooting question about Sirius integration (2003 X5 with nav)

Hello everyone--

I just went through the process of installing the factory OEM Sirius upgrade to my MY 2003 X5 with factory navigation which to my eyes was identical to this installation (http://www.xoutpost.com/articles/x5/s...avigation.html.

At the end of the installation I went to initialize the sirius system and while my head unit sees and recognizes the CD changer it does not see the sirius box. The install was very straightforward so I don't think that anything is wrong there; is there some sort of change I need to initiate with the head unit or some sort of switch that needs to be thrown on the CD changer?
