cd/ipod

i hate the fact you cant use the cd player when you have the ipod installed in the car, is there no way to use both? i still buy cd's and only chance to listen to them is in the car. would be so nice if you could use an adaptor to switch from cd-to ipod.

Do you have navigation? If so, you can upgrade your radio to get the aux input. That is what I do... I have both iPod running through my Aux and my normal CD changer.

Alternatively, you could install the DICE adapter. I think that lets you keep your CDC as well as giving you iPod control.

Not true, the DICE will replace the CD Changer and emulate this device. It's well worth the tradeoff of having your entire music collection in the vehicle with text display rather than only 6 CDs.

I thought one of the Dension companies offers a product that lets you switch between iPod and CDC through the CDC interface. No?

We offered a Source Selector some time ago buy discontinued the device since most people preferred the iPod over the CD Changer. Once you get used to the iPod, the CD Changer becomes old news.
