How to Install DICE with Sirius

Hello All,
Any advice is greatly appreciated. I purchased my DICE module a few weeks ago but travel prevented me from installing it. I was just doing some looking around in the car and I am confused as to where to hook up my DICE module. I have included some pictures. None of the instructions I could find have the are for a car with Sirius. Please help!!! Do I have to remove the CD changer? I know I lose the functionality but do I physically have to remove it to access the connectors or are they under the spare tire?

Thanks,

You need an additional cable in order to run Sirius and the DICE kit together:

DICE iPod/CD Changer/Sirius Interface Cable

This will plug into the 12-pin slave port on your Sirius module and allow the DICE to connect easily.

Hi Tom,
I have the Sirius cable. The challenge is now to find the Sirius module. Would it be in the tire well or behind the CD changer? Any guide as to what the Sirius module looks like? I did purchase this item from EAS, but being on the East Coast it is hard to call you folks. I am usually only available on the weekends to do this.

Thanks for your help!

Sirius is next to battery...

You will need to remove the spare tire and the Air suspension dome to get to the battery tray. A few more screws and you will see the battery and some other electronics, including sirius, between you and the battery.

That said, I did not have to use the Sirius cable provided to me...I just unplugged the CD changer and plugged those cables into the Dice cable and ran it to the front of the car. i think the extra SIRIUS cable is only for people who do not have a CD changer as well. The OEM cable is long enough that you can get to it without removing the spare, so if you ever needed to plug the CD changer back in, you could do so by just pulling the panel on the left of the car...At least that is how I understand it...

Tom...did I get that right?

Can't you just unplug CD changer and use those connections?

If you already have a CD Changer and Sirius running together, yes - the needed cables will already be in place.
