Angry How to connect 6 CD changer.

Hello, I want to connect the 6 CD changer from my old car to the audio system from my new car. The CD changer is type 65.12-6913388 2002 july and the audio system is a Navigation Professional incl. Radio professional with separate CD and DVD player.
The connectors don't fit on each other ( see photo's).

Is there a adapter connector available, or can you replace the interface module on the cd changer itself, and where can you buy them.

Thanks in advance,

Ton

If your X5 is prewired for a CD Changer, it should plug right in.

Hello Tom G, it's prewired (see photo's) but the plugs don't fit on each other. I'am looking for somekind of adapter plug or a new interface module on the back of the CD changer.

What year is your X5? That connector is not the correct one you have pictured.

That's our reason. The X5 CD Changer cannot be used in your 1-series.

BMW makes it as hard as possible to put anything from 1 vehicle in another from a different chassis code.

Their hope is you will now go to the dealer and purchase the OEM changer

Not much of a difference, you're better purchasing locally or on eBay for the best price on a stock MOST-enabled changer.
