Dice aux in

I have an HDD stup in a 2002 X5 so no factory option of aux in.
All I want to do is hear the HDD in stereo through the car speakers.I have the aux in adaptor that you plug in the tv tuner but its only mono.I want to buy a dice system which has an aux in.The big question is when I'm watching the front screen with aux selected at the moment I get the HDD screen and sound in mono, can you select the Dice (which uses the CD changer plugs) audio input like I can with the tape or tuner because I have TVinmotion connected.
The only other option I'm considering is spliceing into the radio tuner loom and using the tape input with a dummy tape in.I've seen this done splicing behind the front screen but it looks like you can do this in the boot at thr radio tuner.Any help appreciated

We have a TV module arriving in a couple of days to test this very feature - I should have an answer by the end of the week.
