Select Multi CD Mode w/ Single CD Player - iPod Setup

Long time listener, first time caller...

I purchased a used 2001 X5 that had an aftermarket ipod adaptor installed. In order to use the ipod, I had to switch the radio to multi cd mode, even though it only has the single cd player.

Everything was cool until I had an item repaired that required the battery to be disconnected. When I got it back, the option for multi cd mode was no longer available. I took it into the dealer and they had no idea what I was talking about. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get that option reset on my radio?

Thanks for any help.

:xoutpost:

Have you tried disconnecting the adapter and reconnecting it a couple minutes later? I'm assuming you're using something made by Dension or Dice? and the adapter is going through the CD-Changer 3- and 6-pin connectors?

We can help, but need more info. Do you know the brand of your iPod adapter?

Thanks to you both for the reply. The adapter is a Dension and the unplugging and reconnecting trick worked! Thanks so much for the help!
