looking for advice....

I have the standard audio with single CD in the dash. I've read thru a number of threads and it looks like BMW doesn't make it easy to upgrade to NAV.

I really would like to have the NAV but it looks like a royal pain to upgrade.

I would also like to add a 6 disc changer, and would like to stick with factory as I have service contract. To install the 6 disc changer, I found the plugs, and found that I don't have the mounting brackets...... how difficult will it be to find a factory CD Changer with brackets?

Not tough at all, most people are going the iPod route nowadays.

DICE iPod Integration Kit for BMW

This will allow iPod integration, text display, and steering wheel control - let me know if you have any questions on the system.

We offer a cd changer kit for your vehicle that will not void your warranty. Although a dealership cannot void your service contract unless the product in question can be 100% with out a doubt be proven that it caused the failure. Which is very difficult to do. This was passed into law many years ago when dealers were voided warranties because people changed wheels and put on Flowmaster mufflers in place of OEM mufflers and that would void engine warranties.

Here is the CD Changer kit:
