NAV + appleTV = sweet?

Haven't seen any threads on this idea. Has anyone thought about putting an apple TV in your ride using the video input onto the NAV screen?
Seems like it would be perfect! and you could sync it over wifi with your car in the garage.

The problem i've found is that the Apple TV has dvi/HDMI/Component video output, and all the Video on NAV screen options i've seen are just regular old Composite video. Any way to get around this problem?

This would be for my E46, btw.

i was sort of dissapointed that you couldn't plug in a coaxial cable to appletv. i thought it was supposed to transfer media to your mac...not buy things on itunes to put on your tv...

buy anyway... there's always a way...no one has explored it yet.
but you can put video on your nav.

if you have an iPod, you can bypass it...

I wouldn't bother with iTV for the BMW, but we can integrate your iPod as a video source if you would like. We also have TV on NAV applications available as well.

Contact me directly and we'll be happy to recommend the proper system for you.

I'm sure there will be a cable adapter to connect to older tv's via composite or s-video cable. On our laptops, we only have a DVI connector, but then there's plenty of adapters for ouputs like VGA and Composite+SVideo.
