Ipod Options

I was reading the article under the stereo heading on the front page regarding different options for using Ipod with your X5 (article 13). Seems to me there are some other options out there now other then the one's listed (i.e. DICE) Perhaps someone would like to chime in on what what they are using and pro's vs. con's.

you may want to check out..

I would check out http://www.europeanautosource.com/ ,they have the latest stuff including the new " DICE High Definition Radio w/ iPod Integration (BMW)" . I think some of the ones on that page may be discontinued.

The page lists the ice>Link Plus, which was discontinued last year and replaced with the DICE kits. Now you have 2 choices for iPod integration needs:

DICE iPod Integration Kit for BMW
http://www.europeanautosource.com/pr...roducts_id=268

DICE High Definition Radio w/ iPod Integration
http://www.europeanautosource.com/pr...roducts_id=467

The latter of the two integrates a High Definition Radio along with the kit for even more features. Both kits allow for steering wheel control, text display and complete integration of your iPod with your X5.

Let me know if you have any further questions, we're glad to help.

I like the Aux input option. I get to keep my CD player but i don't get to see whats playing on the i pod and I cannot control what's being played except the volumn. Suits me fine though.
