Question DICE-HD always starting on 2nd song in iPod playlist

Tom G. or any DICE users...

The DICE-HD works great with controling my video Ipod.

The problem is that when I shut off the X5 and return back to the car, the DICE-HD does not resume the last song played. In fact, it will go back the SECOND song of the the current playlist every single time on the iPod.

Is there anything I can do to prevent that?

Also, the DICE-HD HD radio function also does NOT remember the last radio station.

Thanks in advance.

Kewl -
I share your pain.

HDFM: Mine never remembers stations either. Very frustrating when you are in and out of the car a lot and have to keep putting back on the preferred/last station.

IPOD: I have a similar issue as you. It will start back at the first or second song in the playlist no matter where it is when I turn off the car. I could be 40 songs into a playlist and it will start over at the beginning each and every time.

Other: Now the right channel is cutting out, and powering it off and back on solves it for a few minutes. The connections are fine.

One last thing, I have the audio drop-out problem that Mickey and others have. Happens randomly between 20 seconds and 2 minutes in IPOD mode and the drop-out lasts about a second. The drop-out also happens about 5 seconds into each song.

Good luck with yours, hope you get it all worked out. I know you are in good hands.

There is a solution for the audio dropout that was released about a month ago the module will have to be sent in for reflashing. Contact me directly and we'll get you set up.

No audio dropouts here. However, apparently there is a new firmware for DICE.

Tom G. will help you out.

If the iPod goes into hibernation mode - all "bookmarks" are lost.
