Unhappy ICE LINK PLUS Install - with CD changer

Help please...
I'm struggling to install Ice Link Plus on my 05 X5 which has Nav/TV and CD changer. I can remove changer and take out 2 cables from back of it but I'm very unsure as to what need to be connected to the IceLink harness and how..

Can anyone help - with pics would be ideal.

Many thanks

Bradders

The US kits differed a bit from the kits overseas. I'm assuming you are connecting directly to the radio and not the CD Changer connections?

Looks like I have to Euro version and that I have to take out spare tyre and locate raido underneath ! This wasn't very clear when I bought Ice Link PLus.

What firmware version are you using on the ice>Link? We have instructions on how to check here: http://www.europeanautosource.com/su...2&root=16&id=9

There's a problem with installation - Try removing the battery cables (both) for about 10 minutes and reinstalling. Also perform a reset of the iPod.

Are you saying to take the battery leads off the car for 10 mins?? They are located away below the spare wheel I think

If you are having trouble with the initialization process, yes - the cables need to be removed.
