For those doing IceLink Updates...
For example, enabling the dislpay of song artist and title to your OBC under the speedo....
I finally did it and realized that it only takes about 2 seconds. (the iPod update!) Unplug and replug and it works just fine  I thought it would take about 2 minutes to update.

Correct. Chris, what was probably happening to you before is the iPod would play the "OBD display" track and then go to the next track, which is "no tag display". Hence, you weren't getting the display to show song tags. It only takes a few seconds of playing the "song" for the mode you want for it to be enabled.
Now if you are doing a complete firmware update then it takes much longer and you shouldn't interrupt the process until it is complete. Review the instructions very carefully.
