Dension Ice Link Plus No sound

Hi, I just installed the ice link plus in my 12/03 X5 and everything seems to be running fine, I can control see playlists, do everything but there is just no sound coming out. Any reasons? ideas?
I have DSP but that seems to be analog,

thanks,
Dane.

Did you use the little DSP box? I have DSP in my 04 but didn't need to use the box (converter). When I took that out of the loop it worked fine.

I have an Ipod video and would it be because of the cradle, is it supported?

Same thing happened to me straight after I intalled mine - no sound but control of playlists, tracks etc.

I managed to get it working by holding down the 'select' (i.e. the centre button) and the 'menu' button on the ipod for a few seconds which resets the ipod. I then immediately started getting sound thru the stereo after the reset. Worth a try.

If your vehicle is DSP but there was no coax cable from the changer to the amp, then that's not the issue.

The cradle works with the Ipod Video just fine, that's not it.

Do you have Sirius?

The box that I was referring to is the one that Dension sends (has you buy) when you select that you have DSP "Factory CD-changer harness connection kit for vehicles with DSP and certain Premium sound system with coaxial connection found in 5, 7, X5, Z4"

It has some RCA jacks and the DSP cable. I ended up not needing it and pluged directly into the CD changer plug.

Do you have Navigation or Business CD? Also, how was it determined you have analog DSP rather than digital? If you purchased the vehicle used - more than likely the original CD chagner was removed, along with the DSP cable - it woulds like you have Digital DSP and require the DSP converter kit. We have these in stock.

If you know of someone with a factory CD Changer and DSP cable - this will tell you right away what configuration you have.

Tom, I do have a business cd. And I can see there is no coaxial cable going through the unit, though you might be right that it might be dsp.
Everything else functions but only the sound would that be the case than?
where can I order the dsp convertor as would like to get one. Alos if I need to try anything else. thanks.
