eclipse head unit

has anyone had any experience with the eclipse head unit AVN6610?

I've install eclipe head units before and they all were awesome. i know everyone uses the pioneer unit, but this eclipse can do NAV in the front while playing dvd's in the head rest TV's and then switch back and fourth. blue tooth ready, ipod, sirius,

i'm gonna have to do something about a bezel though. the mybimmer.net bezel looks great and would do the trick but i have access to an engraver at work and might be able to precision cut a flat bezel. ill keep you all updated with that. i gotta get the headunit first.


this pic is actually the 5510 but it basically looks the same the outside and feel of it- i believe the nav menus are totally different though.

and if anyone knows where i can get a good price on one, i've found retail at 1600, and i saw one on ebay for 1350

ON YOUR X5.
I would love to know how your unit has been integrated with your X5, I assume. I personally skipped out OEM Nav, because I hated the user interface. I've been thinking about adding Pioneer Nav myself.

i wrote the above lookin for some feedback on the unit. and i posted those two pics to give an idea of how it looks and was hoping to avoid the

logo

oh well. i'm doin somethin in there and will def post pics when done. just tryin to find the best unit, was also thinking about a PC, just puttin a touch screen up there and havin the pc in the back. but i think that would be more trouble than it's worth, been down that road with a friend.

ill post the links to his car when i find them. its an eclipse that he wrote voice activated software for picking songs.
