Just added Sub and amp to premium sound system

This afternoon I just finished adding a 10" subwoofer powered by a 300W sub amp to my X5 premium sounds system. It took me 2 1/2hours all together but I did my homework before and knew exactly what I wanted to do before starting this work. I am very pleased with the result as it provides the “oumph” which the premium system was lacking. The sub does not take too much space in the cargo area and can be removed in 15sec. The amp was added on top of the CD changer as you can see in the pics below. The sub and amp were sold together at Pep Boy’z for $120 only!.

For the sub bass audio signal from I used pins 7 (sub -) and 14 (sub +) from the 15pins premium Audio Connector and connect them to the high level inputs of the amp. I used ‘crimp and snap’ connectors to make the connections.
