As you can see from the date of my last post, it's been a year since that mod and I must admit that I haven't done anything further although I still intend too. There are numerous threads here in the archives that should answer any of your questions. IMO el_duderino is the authority on this subject.

one more question. When you say 3 inch lip was that fromfront or back. Im going to fiberglass the rear part of this box and use your design for rest of box. Can you PM the exact specs, measurements or plans for the pieces you used? Did you counter sink woofer at all? I assume not because it is 1.2 mdf. Did you use poly fil? Also, i think i want to use a kicker solobaric l7 8, so i wonder if that changes reqirements at all

Can you post the exact dimensions of the board you used in this project??? Thanks a bunch! a 8" driver would work for me!
