Hello Paul,

I you find these install pics again please send me the link.
Have been Googling quite some time but couldn't find it for the X5.
There's quite some space available in the trunk on the floor behind the tray where the cd-changer used to be.
The iPod + KCA-420i might fit there.
The non-MP3 cd changer was removed as I would have needed another 2 Alpine devices to use it ($$) with the iPod and with 40GB of music there's no need for cd's anymore.

Will probably install a connector to attach the Resler interface in the same area the way you did.
Wrote down the part numbers you mentioned and will order them soon.
Did you put the Resler interface in an enclosure?
How do you know whether the bluetooth module has voice control?
Almost bought a voice control module but wasn't sure whether it was the correct part number for car with serial number LV48554.
It didn't match the one I found on realoem.com and I heard there could be an issue with the BT module.
Gr. Eric

Hi Eric,

I wrapped the resler in the insulation material I took off the CD changer leads as my car never had a CD changer installed. Probablly not the best solution, a small plastic enclosure would be better.

I don't know which bluetooth modules have voice control, I just risked buying everything and it paid off! My car is a september 2005, but I don't know if all cars after that date had the option, or it just depended on what part they had in at the time.

Mine is 01-2004 (LV48554) and it came with option 644.
Will try once Mr. Resler has sent me the interfaces.
Can't wait to change the start-up picture on the nav display..

I just got off the phone with Tara in Austin with Bimmernav.com and my Intravee is on the way! I'm real excited to uninstall my dice and replace it with the Intravee.
