Here's the kit you need:

DICE - SILVERLINE iPod Integration Kit for X5 00-06 (Trunk Interface)

Let me know if you need anything else.
Thanks Tom!! I also found a place locally that does install of this type, so I think I'm set. I will either be getting the DICE Silverline myself, or they will be getting it. Thanks.

Putting the files into a Playlist will make for easy access. No macros are necessary.

On a 2007 X3 without NAV, how do you decide if you want the radio or trunk interface? What do you suggest? thanks!!

On the X3, it's called a trunk/console interface:

DICE - SILVERLINE iPod Integration Kit for X3 04-08 (Trunk/Console Interface)
http://www.europeanautosource.com/pr...oducts_id=1628

The CD Changer connections are underneath the center console bucket.

Hi All,

Just installed my DICE silverline into my '06 X5 with NAV nonDSP.

I can get the screen to work on Track 05 and Track 06, but i can not get it to work on the Track 02. Which means I am down to 8 characters instead of 15 characters.

Has anyone else had this problem and know how to resolve it?

Any updates from DICE on the playlist order issue or the fact that the silverline stops the ipod once it reaches the end of a playlist???

This is normal, the iPod would do the same if listening with headphones. Simply choose another Album, Artist or Playlist when completed.

That is actually not true. I just tested it. With 'repeat all' selected in the ipod settings the ipod automatically cycles back to the beginning of the playlist.

Seems you're asking the same question on 2 separate threads.

I'll forward the issue to DICE's technicians and see if they are looking to change this.
