Mounting location for CD Changer

I have a '05 X5 4.4 with navigation and I recently added a DVD player that is mounted right above the navigation unit. Tomorrow I am having the Sirius adapter installed, which leaves only the CD changer (which should arrive by early next week).

With all the other equipment in (i.e. DVD player, Sirius, Navigation), will the cd changer fit in fine still? Does it matter what location it is installed at?

Also, from what I have researched, installing the CD changer should be a fairly simple DIY since it is Plug n Play. I am assuming the only work involved would be mounting it, but I just wanted to make sure. Is it necessary to have it professionally installed?

Thanks in advance!

I've seen some installs where the Sirius unit is mounted down next to the radio module in the space where the TV module would otherwise be located. There should be sufficient space for what you are trying to do.

Personally I would forego the CD changer and put in an IceLink Plus unit instead. This will free up another "slot" in your rack.
