Check out the articles on the main webpage specifically this one:
http://www.xoutpost.com/articles/x5/s...ctory-amp.html

Try a search. There is info here about sub amp upgrades of all types.

Hi,

I have just checked my X5 (2005) and there does not appear to be an Amp ( by the bluetooth module). I have read the link you provided but this does not seem to relate to me unless I am missing something.

The car comes with 16:9 monitor, cd changer and MKIV navigation. How do I add An Amp to my setup.

Thanks

cheers.

Fitted The the Intravee this weekend and that is such a great piece of kit! Certainly no need to upgrade my cd changer. Now i have just got to look on ebay for a spare Ipod.

wilkoturbo, are you upgrading your stock speakers as well?. If so what R you using?.
The BSW kit is too much of a stretch at the moment having just spent £22k cash on car. Besides $599+ is not justifyable when I go down from 700miles to 30miles weekly work travel in 4months. Ideally I would just love to power up a 3way 6X9 or 8" in the back somehow

3.0d sports Auto, 55 plate, 55k miles, Carbon black, Napier leather. Heated front memory seats, no sunroof , no folding mirrors , cd changer. £21800. I just spent another £1000 installing Tracker, 2 new rear tyres, Extra Key .....

ooch these cars are expensive, but loving it though

Those folding mirrors will be a god send for me. I have a route on way to work with width restriction which means I always have to fold my driverside mirror and go a creeping speed to get past it. you can se the hands of drivers in the rear view raising their fists

Are ur amp sorted yet ?
