Does anyone know where I can find my radio code? I disconnected the battery and now the radio is asking for one.

X5's do not require a radio code.

There is an anti theft code in the BC to prevent starting of the vehicle. Check the owners manual for info.

if it is the anti-theft code, i heard that you can disconnect the power for 30 minutes and the code resets to 000

I believe that you have to disconnect and reconnect the battery, the alarm will sound for about 45 seconds and the BC goes into a 15 min. count down and then you are able to start the vehicle. Thats how it is on older BMW's from what I can remember.

I refered him to the owners manual just in case I was wrong.
