Ipod, Summary and other questions

Hi Everyone.
I'm from Belgium and I don't understand all in english, so i made a treath to know if I have all correctly understand and to keep some tips from you.

I have one bmw 320CD E46 from 2005, equiped with a 16/9 screen MKIV and, navigation system and 6cd changer.
I want to install my Ipod in the BMW.

So i have read that this forum propose 2 solutions!
The dice and the intravee II.
I WANT ID3 TAGS, so the intravee looks better for that, but more expansive, 250$ the intravee and 75$ the KCA-420i...

So, I just have to buy The intravee II and the KCA-420i, that's it?
Other questions, I presume that I can't use my bmw cd changer with the KCA-410C? If I want to use cd changer i have to buy a Alpine CD-Charger?

Just a last question, sorry, but i use original cd who have id3 tag on it, my last pioneer radio show me information about traks, and here in the bwm nothing appaer, just track 01... It's the same in the cd charger and in the console. Is that normal?

Thanks in advance for you response.

EDIT : I have the Harman / Kardon installation, any problem with Intravee or others things for the connectivity?

Both the DICE and Intravee will display ID3 tags for Album, Artist and Track, the DICE just uses one line on the Nav screen, the Intravee makes more use of it and will display all three tags at the same time.

Correct. The Intravee uses the stock CD Changer connactions and the KCA-420i comes with the cables required to connect to the Intravee and iPod. With the E46 there is no issue with DSP and digital CD audio as it's was never an option available.

Correct. The Intravee and DICE both emulate a BMW CD Changer and you can only have one in the car. The Intravee can use a KCA-410c or KCA-400c AI-Net switch to enable you to select one of 4 sources (2 AI-Net and 2 Aux for the KCA-410c, 4 AI-Net for the KCA-400c). You can use any of the Alpine 6 CD Changers, such as the CHA-S634 MP3 changer or CHA-S624 none MP3 Changer.

Original Audio CD's don't have ID3 information, but some use a system called CDText, the Intravee and either CHA-S624 or CHA-S634 will display CDText if available, the OEM changes will not.

None at all. Just unplug the CD Changer and connect up an Intravee or DICE.
