I can testify that that sub is very good. The magnesium cone has excellent damping characteristics, the linear travel one way is like 14mm, and it has dual three-inch voice coils. I have the model below that one in my vehicle and it sounds great.

el duderino...I was wondering what's the price difference between the UR10 and the MW110? How do they compare soundwise? Although I guess what I'm really asking is what would give me the best bass response w/o building out. I checked out the dls website and other than having the foam surround stick out, do you think that the UR12 (or even the UR10 for that matter) could be installed w/o building out of the side panel like chefwong did? I'm trying to see if there is any way to put in a 12" woofer w/o building out and the volume recommended for the UR12 is only .56 cu ft, so it seems like a possibility. I haven't had time to go to Competition Soundworks and see what they can do...unless of course you're planning on moving to LA, in which case, I'll have you install the sub box Thanks for all your help.

The foam is certainly part of it. The UR10 is also much deeper than the MW110 due to the double-stack magnet assembly to accomodate the 33% longer linear excursion. We looked at just what you're asking and we couldn't see either UR fitting without the buildout, which we didn't want to do.
