Ice Link Help Radio Shack D/A Converter

I have the dension Ice Link, and was told to buy a radio shack D/A converter for my dsp system. When I cut the wire, which one is positive and negative? Also I notice the box says it is 9VDC will this work on a 12V connection?

I think you can find it by typing in D/A converter.

There's also a cable in the box from Dension that has had RCA ends put on it, so it doesn't work with the Icelink staight outta the box.

The converters are discontinued from Radio Shack - the part number has even been deleted from their database.

EVen if you source the converter, you ytill need the correct cables - the converter is only 1/3 of the kit. The cables are custom-made for the BMW. If you do source the converter yourself, I can offer the cables or offer the DSP kit alltogether. I have the DSP kits in stock, ready to ship.

In the meantime, Dension is working on their own DSP modules to still support DSP models.

What about the Soundgate model?

I think I have a Dension-modded Radio Shack unit around here somewhere.
