Tom,
I have 2001 X5 with 4:3 Nav and DSP and would like to install my Mini Ipod. Does the DSP kit will work with my system and how much is it? Thanks.

Justin.

Tom,
Can you give me an idea where I would be able to get a switched 12v source for an 01 x5 with DSP. Thanks.

I need to know the following information and I can make a recommendation:

Year
Model
iPod Generation
Business CD or Navigation

I can set you up with everything needed.

You can probe a 12V wire on the Driver's side off the amp if you wish, the DSP converter is very minimal on the power draw - it can go directly to the battery if you wish.

I usually use the fuse panel on the passenger side in the cargo area.
