Reseting the BMW/Nakamichi CD Changer

I just bought a 2001 X5 with the BMW/Nakamichi CD changer in the glove box. The CD changer is not working. All the lights are blinking green and then red. Is there a way to reset it? Does anyone know what this means?

First suggestion would be to unplug it for a period of time and then plug it back in to see if that resets it.
