Ok, 2006 w/DSP & Nav + MP3 Changer. What are my iPod options?

I'm seeing conflicting reports on what I can and cannot use for iPod connectivity. Do I need to just remove and sell my 6 disk MP3/WMA changer and replace it with an iPod interface in the trunk? I don't mind mounting and dedicating an iPod to the car out of reach. Matter of fact I probably prefer it.

Just trying to figure out what my options are. Some of the iPod kits say no DSP, or other say you can't use the iPod and the changer, etc.

I appreciate any pointers! Also, any idea what the late model MP3/WMA changers sell for? Maybe I could use that money to offset some of the iPod kit cost.
