Ok, 2006 w/DSP & Nav + MP3 Changer. What are my iPod options?

I'm seeing conflicting reports on what I can and cannot use for iPod connectivity. Do I need to just remove and sell my 6 disk MP3/WMA changer and replace it with an iPod interface in the trunk? I don't mind mounting and dedicating an iPod to the car out of reach. Matter of fact I probably prefer it.

Just trying to figure out what my options are. Some of the iPod kits say no DSP, or other say you can't use the iPod and the changer, etc.

I appreciate any pointers! Also, any idea what the late model MP3/WMA changers sell for? Maybe I could use that money to offset some of the iPod kit cost.

Don't know about the changer question.

The DICE will work great in your vehicle though

DSP 'generally' is only an issue for 2002 or earlier cars, they have a Digital audio input from the CD Changer so you need an A-D converter if you want to use any of the CD Changer replacement interfaces. There are some newer cars that have digital DSP, the only way to be sure it to look at the connections to your CD Changer, if you have a small coaxial cable disconnect it and see if you still get audio. If you do get audio or don't have the coaxial cable at all, you don't need the A-D converter.

You should check out the Intravee as you have Nav.

Yeah it looks like the Intravee is eating Dice's lunch. The Dice guys need to get with the program and enhance their Nav interface!!! I know the Intravee requires the Alpine interface and is a bit more $, but it looks to be worth it based on such a nice user interface...
