blown aftermarket woofer on dsp system

In my 02 m5 with dsp/nav, i installed a fosgate amp using a stinger sgn12 LOC, granted the rms output on the amp is around 600 rms and the woofers is 350 watts rms(infinity perfect) i dont believe i ever turned it up THAT loud.

do any of you have problems with clipping while using an loc on the dsp system?
i figure its either that, or with the sealed trunk the woofer was playing a little louder than i thought

The LOC usually doesn't cause the sub to blow.

_The box size might not have been suitable for the sub, causing you to overpower -he sub ?
-You may have been listening to it too loud
-Maybe the amp wasn't tuned?
-If its a DVC, maybe it wasn't wired up correctly?
