How can I setup my aftermarket subwoofer to get the cleanest source?

I plan on moving my JL Audio W7 along with a Kicker KX. 600.1 amp from the x5 to an 03 range rover.

My plan was to purchase a Audio Control L6i electronic hi/low adapter and tap into the trucks oem sub source.

Think this might do the trick? any other suggestions?
Thanks

What CharlieHustleX5 recommended is a good unit, but not a high level converter... That LC6i looks to have multiple sets of high to low conversion channels and adds a remote knob for the sub channel. But if the only sound you are adding with an amp is the sub, you can go with a less expensive setup like a pre-amp remote setup and regular pac high/low converter, but that probably wouldn't have the quality of the LC6i controller.

An L6i would be suitable if the whole system was being upgraded and connected through it. But for a subwoofer and amp with bass maximized, I think the Epicenter setup above suits it best. I personally will be running both the L6 and Epicenter in my X5 as soon as I get around to finishing up my sound upgrades.

Does this unit do anything to the sound itself, or is it just a way to add a remote control knob to the sub amp? Some sub amps come with a remote, or make it an option. I wish mine had that feature. It would be nice to make adjustments from the driver seat.

The unit takes the OEM factory inputs and feeds it to the amp with the cleanest output signal possible, without distorting or reducing the sound quality of the speaker its connected to. It improves the signal your sub amp receives by filtering out all the preset frequency limitations from your factory amplifier.
